Four cozy apartments which have been recently restored, situated on a beautiful property in Lucca surroundings. This property is nicely located amidst valleys and it is part of a small estate producing an excellent wine, “Montecarlo wine”. The lovely small fortified hamlet of Montecarlo is a short distance away. This property offers a large fenced in lawn with nice olive trees, a beautiful pool and a large solarium terrace.
A secondary road passes nearby.
The units Melograni 1 and 2 can be connected through a spiral staircase.
Distances: Montecarlo with food shops 2,5 km away, Lucca and Montecatini Terme (18-hole golf course) 16 km, Viareggio and the Versilia coastline area 49 km away, Pisa (airport) 51 km, Florence (airport) 66 km, Volterra 75 km away, San Gimignano 76 km, Radda in Chianti 109 km away, Siena 127 km, Rome 350 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large shaded fenced-in garden (remote-control gate and alarm system), lightened fenced-in swimming-pool (10 x 5 m – depth 1,55 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09 from 10.00 to 19.00), open-air shower (cold water), large solarium terrace (50 square meters) next to the pool, small shared barbecue, 4 bikes.
WI-FI internet available in the outside areas (not inside the apartments).
Parking within the property.
Extra Services: Baby bed upon request (€ 20,- / per week to be paid on the spot). Maid service available by arrangement (€ 12,- / per hour to the paid locally). Wine tasting upon request. Upon request it is also possible to rent a large room with panoramic terrace accommodating up to 50 people (price on demand). The products of the estate (wine, olive oil, grappa and “Vin Santo” – sweet wine) are available for clients to be purchased.

une climatisation permettrait un excellent s ejour en toutes circonstances. Neanmoins nous sommes tres satisfaits de la location.

Lovely apartment with outstanding views from the terrace. Ceilings are low in places but a bumped head or two quickly taught us where to duck! Apartment nicely furnished, kitchen only real area where there could be improvement, but it was adequate for our needs. Pool area lovely. The location is convenient, Lucca is about 15-20 minutes by car with Pisa and Florence easily accessible too. There is a good supermarket about 1.5 miles away, close enough to walk to first thing in the morning before it gets too hot but uphill all the way back. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place to family and friends. Only real downside is paying an additional €100 final cleaning bill, it seemed rather excessive.

We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad. Het huis ( melograno 4) was prima. Schoon en van alles voorzien. Wasmachine, ventilatoren enz. Het zwembad is prachtig met voldoende lekkere stoelen( nou hadden we het geluk dat we de tweede week geheel alleen waren. Locatie is prachtig gelegen, mooi uitzicht, rust en zeer schoon. 5 minuten rijden naar lucca 20 minuten naar het strand, top!

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a great holiday. The house (melograno 4) was fine. Clean and well equipped. Washing machine, fans, etc. The pool is wonderful with plenty of good seats (well we were lucky that we were the second week alone). Location is superb, nice view, quiet and very clean. 5 minutes drive from Lucca to 20 minutes beach, great!

Wow what a beautiful place! The Hacienda was spaceous and well kept and had a beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards. It was a short drive to Lucca and Pisa.
