Saanan Taika is located in the enchanting village of Kilpisjärvi. The landscape is dominated by clear mountain lakes and Finland's highest fells. The most famous of these is the majestic Saana, at the foot of which the village is situated.
Saanan Taika is a warm and well-equipped cabin. From the large windows of this beautiful cabin, you can enjoy the expansive fell landscape of Ala-Kilpisjärvi, which can be admired by the warmth of the fireplace. The shore of Ala-Kilpisjärvi is 90 meters away; there is no private beach, and the cabin path runs between the shore and the cabin.
This wooden cabin was completed in 2025. There is a combined kitchen/living room, one bedroom with a double bed, and two other bedrooms each with two single beds. The cabin includes a sauna, a bathroom with a toilet, an additional separate toilet, a utility room, and an entrance hall. There is also a terrace.
Please note: There is a charging station for electric and hybrid vehicles, which must be booked in advance (select electric vehicle charging and specify how many times you wish to charge during your stay). Charging is available from 10 PM to 10 AM, at a cost of 26 euros per charging session.
During the summer season, two bicycles (one fat bike) are available for guests. The bicycles can be arranged for use by contacting the owner separately (contact details are provided in the booking confirmation). The bicycles are shared with another cabin, 16144 Saanan Lumous.

This magnificent, brand new planed log cabin offers high-quality leisure living only about 270 kilometers from Helsinki. Shops and restaurant services can be found only 500 meters away, so everyday needs can be taken care of effortlessly.
The location of the cabin is peaceful and close to nature, but still close to everything. The beach area is currently being renovated, and when it is completed in 2026, the area will be even more comfortable. In winter, the frozen Lake Jukajärvi provides excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and excursions – nature is close at hand throughout the year.
The cabin features three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two separate 90 cm wide beds. The spacious kitchen is connected to the living room and the utility room, which has its own exterior door for cooling off after the sauna. From the utility room, there is access to the washroom with a shower and an electric sauna. The cabin also includes two separate WCs.

The ski slopes are just about 800 meters away, and the nearest cross-country ski trail runs just 50 meters from the cabin. In the snow-free seasons, hiking and mountain biking routes are easily accessible directly from the property.
Built in 1990, the cabin has been well maintained, and recent renovations add comfort and convenience — the bathroom and sauna were renewed in 2023, and the cabinetry in the separate WC was updated in 2025. The approx. 42 m² ground floor and the 10 m² low loft form a functional and inviting layout. The living room and open-plan kitchen create a warm and cozy gathering area, complemented by a fireplace and direct access to the private backyard terrace.
