This spacious and fully renovated cabin offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday or an active week surrounded by nature. Conveniently located 73 km southeast of Kemijärvi and 96 km northwest of Kuusamo, the cabin sits on the shores of Lake Mourujärvi in Posio — far enough from the daily rush, yet within easy reach. The distance to the Suomu Ski Resort is 34.5 km.
Originally built in 1947 and completely renovated in 2025, the cabin now offers approx. 150 m² of modern yet cozy living space across two floors. On the ground floor, a spacious living room welcomes you with a traditional baking oven — perfect for bringing warmth and ambiance to chilly winter evenings or rainy summer days. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen that makes holiday cooking easy. On the ground floor you’ll also find two bedrooms, each with two 80 cm wide beds. The entrance opens to a spacious hallway leading to a practical utility room. The downstairs bathroom includes a WC and a shower.
On the upper floor, there’s more accommodation in two bedrooms. The smaller room has two 80 cm wide beds. The larger room comfortably sleeps a bigger group with a 160 cm wide double bed, an 80 cm bed, and a sofa bed that opens to a 140 cm wide sleeping space. The upper floor also features its own bathroom and a sauna — perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
From the living room, step directly onto a large terrace facing the lake — ideal for morning coffee, grilling, or admiring the evening sun. A rowing boat is available for guest use, and the shared beach offers a refreshing swim in Lake Mourujärvi. The beach is steep, partly sandy and partly rocky.

A magnificent and beautifully decorated log cabin in a great location in Kätkä!
The Levi center is about a kilometer away on foot and the ski slopes are close to the cabin.
The log cabin, built in 2003, offers functional and comfortable spaces on two floors. The downstairs has an atmospheric living room with a large and comfortable sofa and a fireplace that creates warmth and coziness. The open kitchen and dining area make getting together effortless and comfortable. There are also two bedrooms downstairs, both with double beds. There is plenty of storage space for outdoor clothing in the hallway.
A magnificent sauna area invites you to relax. There is also a separate toilet downstairs.
There are two bedrooms upstairs. The first bedroom has two 80 cm wide beds. The second bedroom is divided into two parts, and there are four beds in total (4 x 80 cm). There is also a separate toilet upstairs and a spacious and comfortable living area in the loft.
This log cabin is the perfect choice for families and groups of friends who appreciate high-quality accommodation, a good location and Levi's diverse services right at their fingertips.

A modern (2005) log holiday cottage is located in a beautiful location in the Kätkänharju landscape in Levi. Villa Kätkänkierros offers both peace and easy access to Levi's activities. Here you can enjoy a natural atmosphere without a long car journey to services.
Villa Kätkänkierros has premises on two floors, downstairs there is a living room, kitchen, dining area, and an atmospheric fireplace. Downstairs there is also a sauna, shower and toilet. A total of five bedrooms - two downstairs, another with a double bed (180 cm) and another with separate beds for 2. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, all with 2 x single beds (90 cm). Upstairs in the lobby living area there is a sofa bed for 1-2 (bed width 140 cm), plus a bathroom. The cottage has plenty of space for both children and adult groups.
