Boligen kan huse op til 8 gæster fordelt på flere sovearealer. Hovedrummet indeholder et veludstyrket køkkenkrog og et hyggelig stue, mens sovepladserne omfatter 2 soveværelser med dobbeltsenge, en sovekvist med 4 senge og en anden kvist tilgængelig via stige med 2 yderligere senge. Huset råder desuden over et vaskerum, en elektrisk sauna og en åben veranda.
Udendørsarealer
Den åbne veranda tilbyder et læ til afslapning med udsigt over landskabet. Søen Kalliojärvi ligger blot 100 m fra huset; søen er cirka 3 km lang og 500 m bred med en hård moræne bund. Gæsterne har direkte adgang til vandet og kan benytte en privat båd til fiskeri, roning eller blot at drive omkring på den stille overflade. A well-equipped and modern semi-detached holiday apartment in the Ukkohalla resort area.
The apartment’s floor area is 68 m² + a 23 m² loft (built in 2007). The space is divided into three levels (note: steep stairs).
Living room with kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, loft, fireplace room, sauna, bathroom/WC, separate WC, balcony and terrace. The bedrooms have 2 single box-spring beds and a 120 cm double bed.
There is a sofa bed in the fireplace room. The loft has 4 mattresses.
The apartment accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
The stairs are equipped with safety gates to protect toddlers and pets from falling.
Equipment
The kitchen is fully equipped for holiday use: dishes, utensils, baking paper and other basic supplies are ready for use, making cooking easy.
Downstairs there is a drying cabinet and a 9 kg washing machine (detergent included), making everyday life smooth even after outdoor activities or longer trips.
In the outdoor storage there is an 8A electric car charger, included in the rental price.
Remote work and internet
The loft has a fully equipped remote work station (height-adjustable electric desk and a high-quality 27” 4K monitor), making remote work effortless.
The cottage has a very fast 5G connection that remains reliable even when the general mobile network in Ukkohalla becomes congested (e.g., winter holidays and Easter). Streaming and video calls always run smoothly!

Laattajan hirsipirtti is traditional, atmospheric log house/log cabin in the middle of hilly landscapes in Northern Kainuu region. Location is approximately in the center of the triangle, which vertexes are Hyrynsalmi, Puolanka and Suomussalmi.
Log house is suitable for accommodation and for organizing small-scale parties and meetings. Log house has been renovated. Kitchen and WC (with shower) have been renovated in 2022.
There is a shower in the WC.
Two bedrooms, one with double bed, another with double bed, a single bed and a bed for a child. An extra bed in the living room.
Heating is provided by electric radiators in all rooms. In addition, the living room has a large baking oven and wood stove. The second bedroom has fireplace. The WC has floor heating.
In the yard, there is a separate sauna with wood-burning sauna stove. Washing water is traditionally heated in a cauldron. Firewood can be picked up from the woodshed in the yard.
In winter, the yard area is maintained (snow removal) with a tractor. In winter, there is a path on the snow leading to the sauna.
