We rented this property for two weeks in late April and early May. The house is an amazing combination of historical Cortona architecture with contemporary interior design. We enjoyed lovely private side yard and garden daily. The house is located in the Poggio, one of oldest neighborhoods in Cortona. It faces a small park and is surrounded by the original convents. If you are interested in immersing yourself in the local culture, it is an ideal choice.
As others have stated, the walk into the dining and shopping areas of town is about 12-15 minutes, but is very steep. We are active and in our 70s, and managed the walk fine. The meandering narrow streets and open vistas to the valley below are stunning. The locals were very friendly. We loved it there.
The Easy Reserve team handled everything with ease and in a timely manner. Special thanks to Alen for his patience and making sure we had everything we needed.
This house is highly recommended!
