We loved this apartment! It was in a perfect location, a few minutes from the Riva esplanade, the historic centre, boat trips and the port itself. About 20 mins walk to the airport shuttle bus stop. The apartment had all the amenities we wanted - good A/C, good WIFI, smart TV, plenty of space, great terrace, comfortable furniture and all appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, oven, kettle and hairdryer. Great views of the harbour from the bedroom, living room windows and the terrace - better than expected. The hosting company was wonderful and communicated everything quickly and helpfully. We would definitely stay there again!
This is a lovely villa with expansive property and endless charm. We loved the decor, the original aspects of the historical place, cooking in the kitchen (especially with a dishwasher), and the ample space for a large group. Our only complaints were that the mattresses were uncomfortable, the doors squeaked loudly during the night, and laundry took very long to dry (it rained, so we could not put them outside). Eating antipasti with fresh baked bread by the pool and only hearing birds and church bells more than made up for any discomfort.
Villa Pietrafitta is an excellent choice for anyone wanting to visit Castellina in Chianti. The villa is large, has many bedrooms, with large comfotable living areas and a wel equipped kitchen. All amenities weere provided for us. The Villa was sportless. It is ideally located near to the actual town of Castellina Chaini where one can purchase groceries at the Coop and there are good restaurants.
We place This location in the top ten of our AirBnBs and highly receommend it to anyone. Our host Franchesco was awesome and attentive.
