We had a lovely stay here, enclosed garden with plenty of room for the kids to run around, spacious inside, well kitted out. Lots of toys for our 3 year old and dvd's for older kids to watch. You need to pre-book bedding unless you are bringing your own.
Less than an hours drive from Copenhagen, short drive from the beach.
Had some good trips to the Viking museum in Roskilde to the south and the beach to the north, plus had a day-trip by passenger ferry over to Helsingborg, Sweden, from Helsingor, all within easy reach by car.
Wir haben uns in diesem luxuriösen und gepflegten Landhaus ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Es mangelte an nichts, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Umgebung bietet viel Sehenswertes. Ob als Paar, Familie oder in einer kl. Gruppe, ein Ort der Erholung. Jederzeit wieder!
My family and I stayed here for a week at the end of August. For us, it was perfect. The property is a charming, rustic Tuscan farmhouse, but is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The balcony is a really nice spot to have breakfast or sit out with a glass of wine in the evening. It is very secluded and peaceful, surrounded by woods and farmland, but you will need a car to explore the region.
The pool was lovely, with plenty of sun loungers and shade, if needed. It wasn't heated, but in August the air temperature was mid 30s and the pool was around 24deg C.
The owners couldn't have been nicer. It's a family owned property and the welcome we got made us feel at home straight away. During the week, they'd check in with us to see if we needed anything, but without being intrusive. They were very helpful with information on places to visit, where to get shopping, local markets, etc. They offer an evening cooking class, teaching you to prepare Tuscan dishes, which you then sit down to eat. This was one of the highlights of the week for us. Great fun, friendly people and delicious food.
The only (literal) fly in the ointment was the mosquitoes. Take some decent mossie repellent.
All in all, one of the nicest holidays we've had and we all want to return at some point
This property was perfect for my family vacation. We had 11 people including 2 children and the property was perfect in every way. Nothing was broken (everything very nicely restored), the owner was very accommodating and offered help for all of our questions and booking needs, the air conditioning worked perfectly in all rooms, the little town Impruneta was nice and peaceful and close to the city of Florence, the villa had old world charm without any inconvenience, etc. Some of the communication through EasyReserve for coordination of extra services took a long time, but once I requested direct communication with the owner that was resolved quickly - something I would recommend for others. I found this property to be as nice as others that were priced much higher. I would highly recommend this property to others and would definitely stay there again.
