Wonderful villa with everything we needed. Air con in bedrooms was marvellous for night time. Owners live next door and are lovely with excellent English. Beautiful gardens and large pool which we love loved. Villa in rural setting and very private - perfectly placed for visits to Lucca & Florence. Large supermarket 10 mins away. We would definitely return here, one of the best villas we have stayed at in 15 years of holidaying in Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The property has an exceptional location with great views of the sea and bay of La ciott and to the villagea of LaCadiere/Le Castellet.
It is also conveniently located in the wines only 1 km from La Cadiere.
Great gardens , boules area and, terraces and a huge pool from which you have the most spectacular views.
Also the villa is very well laid out for 6 guests with a spacious living room with plenty of light.
Villa and piool is in need of some repairs, and villa is jam packed with furniture and artefacts - but just be prepared for this and be ready to label it as charming (which it iis)
Wifi - brought by the agency - is hopeless and GPS coverage equally bad, so dont plan to set up your home office or bring your favorite streaming service. But the again, you’d much rather sit outside and enjoy the garden, pool and views.
Be aware the address is NOT to be found on either google or apple maps, so you need the Interhome guidance
The property is being serviced by a super friendly and helpful agency, where the owner went out of her way to help (such as beinging her own set of jeu de boules)
Our week at Casa Uscioli could not have been more perfect. A beautiful villa, high in the hills of Tuscany. Remote, private and quiet. The villas and grounds are kept immaculate by our beautiful and elegant host Maria. We enjoyed the property so much, we barely ventured out, unless it was to go to nearby Rufina for supplies. We were happy to just enjoy the pool and it's surrounds. The villa is however close to Florence and we did visit San Gimignano and the Chianti region. WiFi is excellent and laundry was done for us at no charge by Maria. If you want an idyllic week in Tuscany then look no further.
We had a lovely stay at the villa with 8 of our friends, it’s was spacious and airy. The grounds were kept well and the pool was a lovely temperature. It would have been nice to have a few more sun beds but overall we had a very nice stay.

The apartment is well equipped, though, it lacks a little storage.
The reception is good.
We stayed for four nights. The accomodation was very clean at arrival. We got excellent support from the staff before arrival, they are very service minded.
We had some trouble with small black ants in the kitchen, but as soon as we notified this the service technician came and helped out.
It is a walking distance to the train station, but it takes about 20 minutes. Easy to park right next to the station though, and free parking.
There is a store at Droompark, but it is very expensive, so try to go to the local grocery store to pick up what you need. I highly recommend Albert Heijn in Zwanenburg.
One thing that was bugging us was that there was a smell of some cleaning product when we arrived. It smelled so strong that we had to open all doors and windows to air it out.
Das gesamte Anwesen, der gigantische Pool, die Weiläufigkeit, wir (8 Personen) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt (9 Nächte). Kleine "italienische" Mängel wie, Spülmaschine hat nicht richtig funktioniert, das Lichtschaltersystem ist sehr unübersichtlich, kann man verschmerzen. Auch bei der Mülltrennung wäre eine genauere Einweisung bzw. Beschriftung der Behälter hilfreich.
Der Strom, der extra zu bezahlen ist bei Abreise, ist nicht nur teuer, er ist exorbitant teuer. Das sollte man vorher wissen. Ansonsten werden wir alle diesen Aufenthalt nicht vergessen.
(English translation - The entire property, the gigantic pool, the frequency, we (8 people) had a great stay (9 nights). Small "Italian" defects such as, dishwasher did not work properly, the light switch system is very confusing, you can get over. Also with the waste separation a more exact instruction or inscription of the containers would be helpful.
The electricity, which is extra to pay on departure, is not only expensive, it is exorbitantly expensive. You should know that in advance.
Otherwise, all of us will not forget this stay.)
