Sehr schönes Haus in unschlagbar ruhiger Lage. Die Ruhe wird auch nicht durch Anrufe gestört. Im Tal gibt es keinen Empfang. Das WLAN reicht für kleinere Nachrichten aus. Leider ist einiges schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung ist leider nicht komplett stilecht und stört daher den Gesamteindruck etwas. Der Service und die Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr gut und absolut lobenswert. Die Lage, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu San Gimignano, ist super. Es gab einige kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke und einen Startvorrat Mineralwasser - danke dafür. Die Natur in der Umgebung des Hauses ist toll. Von massenhaft Glühwürmchen über dem Bach bis zur europäischen Wildkatze haben wir einiges beobachten können.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Was wir besonders nutzten war das Gemeinschaftsareal mit Pool.
Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus nur weiter empfehlen.

The Villa and its grounds are excellent! The pool is amazing and so is Massimo who is always available if something is in Need. He truly takes care of the pool so that it is always impeccable!
First-class property and traditional Croatian hospitality at its best! The owners could not do more. A clean and modern property with a decent sized swimming pool, secluded BBQ area, perfect for the 6 of us to enjoy over a wonderful two weeks. Ideal location for exploring the Zadar region, its many beaches (only 15 mins away) and the stunning Krka waterfalls. We definitely recommend a stay here to anyone who would like to experience quality, authenticity and the warmth of the people. Keep an eye out for the wild tortoises on the road to the house! We will definitely be back...
very beautiful villa. But very disappointed and surprised to have had to pay 45 euros for a small vase that fell due to a gust of wind during our absence. We are not aware of these practices towards hosts in our region. Especially when the rental is 3600 euros per week.

Our Family (2 adults, 2 children) spent the Holiday at Montegufoni #4 in July this year. At first we were disappointed because the booking Company had not written in their description of the Apartment that it was not located in the main Building but around the area. The design of the appartment though was really beautiful well renovated. The Overall Service was excellent. We had a bed that was making funny noises screetiching and within 1 day the complete bed was exchanged. Within 30 minutes from a request the Counter would send someone to take care of the issue. The pool is very nice. The kitchen is not well equipped. No coffee machine, no bottle opener, no scissors and knife and forkes are very old. The outside Patio was not attractive but very sunny. Altoghether we had a very nice Holiday at Montegufoni.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Marcigliano. There is a large outdoor space, perfect for the children, and the view from the pool in the garden is excellent.
The house and pool were fantastic! We had a lovely two weeks. The managers came by every few days to clean the pool and check everything was ok. The shallow 'square' end of the pool would be great for small children (though we didn't have any) and the grounds were a delight. We only had the lower two floors (the upper ones aren't rented separately) but it would be brilliant for a larger family or two families with the whole house. We didn't want to leave. Thank you!
Das Appartment war sehr komfortabel ausgestattet und dadurch hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist gut, auch gute Busverbindungen.

Wir haben in der Villa "Il Pellicano" schon vor zwei Jahren, noch unter dem Namen "Villa Oleandro", zwei Wochen verbracht. Wieder haben wir den Garten und den täglich gereinigten Pool genossen. Auch der Outdoor- Grill und der Pizzaofen haben zum Vergnügen beigetragen, wenn auch eine kleine Entrümpelung dieses Bereichs nicht schaden würde. Weniger gefreut hat uns der Preisaufschlag von satten 20 Prozent. Da hätten wir erwartet, dass in der Küche im Spülbecken die schon vor zwei Jahren defekte Mischdüse ersetzt worden wäre und die schon vor zwei Jahren nicht mehr normal laufende Besteckschublade geflickt worden wäre. Dass der Geschirrspüler, auch dies wie vor zwei Jahren, jedes Mal beim Öffnen droht herauszufallen, hat schon gar nicht mehr erstaunt. Der nicht funktionierende Drehteller im Mikrowellengerät hat auch nicht überrascht. Neu war der Umstand, dass sowohl Geschirr, wie auch Besteck, vor Gebrauch eine Nachreinigung nötig hatten. Diese Nachreinigung war übrigens auch bei den sehr praktischen Ausziehtischen auf der Veranda nötig. Ein einziges Geschirrtuch für zwei Wochen ist zu wenig. Beim aktuellen Mietpreis wäre wohl auch eine zweite Garnitur Bettwäsche für zwei Wochen kein Luxus und der Ersatz der WC- Besen-Garnitur mit Rost- und anderen (?) Flecken dringend nötig.
Gefreut haben die Ventilatoren, die für die Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage bereitgestellt wurden.
Unser Fazit: Mit bescheidenem Aufwand könnte dieses Objekt im oberen Preissektor in ein rundum gefreutes und bedingungslos empfehlenswertes Feriendomizil verwandelt werden.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent two weeks in the Villa "Il Pellicano" two years ago, still under the name "Villa Oleandro". Again we enjoyed the garden and the daily cleaned pool. The outdoor grill and the pizza oven have contributed to the pleasure, even if a small clearing of this area would not hurt. We were less pleased with the price increase of a whopping 20 percent. In these 2 years we would have expected that in the kitchen the defective mixing nozzle of the sink would have been replaced and the no longer running normal cutlery drawer would have been patched. The fact that the dishwasher, as it was two years ago, threatens to fall out every time it opens, has certainly not astonished anyone. The non-functioning plate in the microwave did not surprise either. New was the fact that the dishes, as well as cutlery, had to be cleaned before use. Incidentally, this re-cleaning was also necessary with the very practical extension tables on the veranda. A single tea towel for two weeks is not enough. For the current rental price, a second set of bed linen for two weeks would be no luxury and the replacement of the toilet broom set with rust and other (?) stains is urgently needed.
Delightedwith the fans, which were provided for the rooms without air conditioning.
Our conclusion: With modest effort, this property in the upper price sector could be turned into a completely happy holiday home that would be absolutely recommendable.
