In the farmhouse Sipilä you will find space and privacy for you and your party of up to 10 people in the middle of Finland, easily accessible, location 28 km from Pieksämäki, next to lake Venetekemä (250m). Farmhouse Sipilä is a new, breathable log house located in the middle of cultivated fields. For sauna lovers, there has three (3) different saunas.
The two-story rental cabin overlooks the evening sun of the Venetekämä lake shore about 250 meters away. Venetekämä is about 4 km long and 1 km wide, hard, shallow sandy bottom, clean water lake in the watershed area, pier and rowing boat on the shore.
The cottage can accommodate a larger group for vacationing, partying and remote work. The living room is a two-story high, spacious space with armchairs, a pull-out sofa, a fireplace and a smart TV that connects to the Wi-Fi network. The living room is connected to the dining area as an extension of the long model kitchen with dining tables. It has a 60 cm baking oven and a wood stove with extractor fans. The kitchen has a ceramic stove with convection oven and extractor fan, Siemens dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, microwave oven and radio/CD player. The breakfast table in the kitchen has open field views. The recycling possibilities at the waste point are good. The living room leads to a large open terrace, where you can enjoy cooling off or your morning coffee. The windowed hallway is spacious.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, each with two 90 cm king-size beds. The other has a desk for doing remote work. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with two 80 cm beds. The other also has a desk for remote work. The upper floor has nice views of the lower floor and the windows towards the lake. The lobby on the upper floor has a pull-out couch and a children's playground. Both floors have stylish, spacious toilets with bidet showers. The downstairs washroom has a shower and a sauna with an electric stove. In addition, you can wash your own laundry in the washing machine.
The beach has a beach sauna built in 2016 with a 15 m² terrace, a campfire site, a pier, a rowing boat, a water heater and an outdoor toilet. You can swim in a shallow, sandy lake directly from the sauna with clean feet. The 4.5 m² sauna has a wood heater and a heater tank. Water is obtained by carrying from the lake. The beach sauna is available from April-May to the end of October. There are rechargeable lamps in the sauna and dressing room.
The courtyard sauna, built in 1970 and renovated in 2000, has a dressing room and a wood heater and heater tank. There is carrying water from a manual well 20 m away and a covered, small terrace and a dressing room.
To make vacations easier for families with children, the house has toys, games, books, a baby bed and a high chair, and a stool and a potty in the washroom. During the summer, swings, trampoline, fireball and soccer goals and balls and fireball bats are available outside. Sticks and propellers for winter time. In the lighted barn, you can throw darts and darts in summer and winter.
Geothermal heat warms the house in all seasons and mechanical ventilation takes care of fresh indoor air.
Surrounded by fields, the cottage is surrounded by a sunny yard with a 19th-century shed, a 20th-century barn building with wood storage and recycling points, a garden, a covered barbecue shed and a cellar. Structures are also visible in the surroundings, which remind us of the cottage's functioning as a filming location for the TV series ´FarmiSuomi´ in 2019-2021 (seasons 1-3).

The cottage has a spacious covered terrace with space to spend a summer day or sit in the evening. There is a campfire site on the beach, where you can enjoy the twilight of a summer evening in the glow of a campfire.
Location 72 km northeast of Jyväskylä, 30 m to the beach (Matkuslampi), log cabin (1973), which was completely renovated in 2024. The living room has a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm bed). Double bed in the bedroom. In the living room there is a fireplace, a kitchenette and a dining set for four. The cottage has a bathroom with a shower and an electric toilet.
There is a wood-heated sauna on the beach. In connection with the sauna, there is a small dressing room and a shower. It is a short distance from the sauna to the lake along the terrace. The beach is a quickly deepening mud beach. You can easily swim from your own pier. A rowing boat is available at the cottage.
There is a separate small sleeping hut in the yard with one place to sleep. Sleeping hut´s bed is an alternative bed. However, the maximum number of people allowed in the cabin is 4 people.

A shed building on the side in the courtyard. There is a cottage library in one of the shed's rooms. You can read or otherwise hang out in the cool room of the shed. The other rooms in the shed are not available.
