The cottage is located in a beautiful spot near pine forests, so you can enjoy a peaceful environment and beautiful views. Nearby Ruka is a skier's dream destination, Oulanka National Park offers stunning hiking opportunities, and in winter, nearby skiing trails are at your disposal.
The cottage is suitable for families and groups of friends, and can accommodate up to six people.
Located 10 km north of Kuusamo and 18 km from Ruka. Oivankijärvi lake is 50 meters away, with a sandy bottom and a rapidly deepening beach, and a rowing boat is available.
Harjula is a traditional log cabin built in 1986. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and 1 single bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed and 1 single bed. In addition, there is a combined living room and kitchen, two toilets, and an electric sauna.
Steep descent to the beach, wooden, safe stairs lead there, which are available for guests to use.
The beach has a sandy bottom (soft at deeper levels), quickly deepens and is not suitable for very small children.

Built in 2007, the cabin seamlessly combines modern comforts with traditional cabin charm. The ground floor features one bedroom with 140 wide double bed. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms: both with a double beds 160 cm. The upper floor hall includes a 120 cm wide bed and two separate 80 cm wide beds. The cabin also boasts an electric sauna for relaxation and a living room/kitchen, ideal for shared cooking moments.
The location is excellent, with ski trails and snowmobile routes passing close to the cabin. The services on Ruka’s eastern side, such as the Vuosseli ski slopes, are only 1.2 km away. Mäntyrinne Ruka is located in a beautiful and peaceful area on the shores of Lake Ihtinki. Ruka's services are only a 10-minute drive away. Hiking trails are also easily accessible. The sledding trail is about 300 m away. Lake Ihtinkijärvi offers rewarding fishing moments both in summer and winter. Rowing boat and lean-to shared with the neighboring cottage (Kuusirinne). It is easy to take forest trips from the site in any season. Good berry forests right next door.
About 20 km north of Kuusamo, the nearest Ruka slope is about 9 km away and the Ruka grocery store Sale is 8 km away. The nearest ski trails are 6 km away, with parking spaces for cars.

Magnificent kelo log cabin in West-Ruka!
An atmospheric log cabin for 10 people near lake Kesäjärvi, built in 2013, offers a wonderful relaxing holiday. There is enough space even for a large group of guests, a suitable destination for both families and groups of friends.
On the ground floor, there are three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, WC and sauna. The steams in the sauna cannot be overstated! Several people can dine at the kitchen table at once, and it is comfortable to sit on the sofa in the living room to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. The upper floor loft has sleeping accommodations for four people.
The location of this cabin is ideal. The nearest grocery is within half kilometer and SkiBus operates right next to the cabin. Outdoor activities in both winter and summer are easily accessible and close by: ski trails and snowmobile trails start around the corner and to the lake Kesäjärvi only 60 meters.
Car shelter is shared with a neighbor, space for one car. You can also park in the courtyard. The cabin is equipped with: Wi-Fi, 2 TVs, children's travel cot and high chair and 2 bicycles. In two bedrooms there are double beds (160x200 and 180x200), on the third bedroom there are 2 separate beds (80x200).
