Lumikeidas is an excellent base for a fell holiday in Saariselkä.
The apartment is located in the Kaunispää South Slope area, in a peaceful setting yet close to everything essential. A cross-country ski trail runs right next to the yard, allowing your outdoor day to begin straight from the door. The top of Kaunispää Fell, the ski slopes, and Saariselkä’s services are all less than 2 km away, and the holiday is easy even without a car – the airport bus stops near the apartment.
Built in 1989, this row-house apartment is a clear and practical accommodation option. The ground floor offers about 30 m² of bright open-plan kitchen and living space with direct access to a private terrace where you can enjoy the crisp fell air.
Please note that the fireplace is not in use.
The sauna, washroom, and WC are located on the same floor, and the drying cabinet in the entrance keeps your outdoor gear ready for the next ski day.
The half-height loft (14 m²) includes two separate 80 cm single beds and two additional 80 cm mattresses.
Wi-Fi (5G 300M). Pets are welcome for an additional fee. The building’s shared ski maintenance room is freely available to guests.

This cozy and well-equipped holiday apartment in the heart of Saariselkä offers an easy and comfortable base for your northern holiday. The location is excellent — all services and activities are nearby. The ski trail starts just 250 meters away, and the ski slopes are 2.5 km from the apartment, easily reachable by Ski Bus, which stops only 150 meters from the cabin. The airport bus stop is about 200 meters away. In summer, you can start a hike into the national park just 900 meters from the property or head straight out for mountain biking right from your own parking space.
This 73 m² end-unit apartment in a row house is ideal for a family or a small group. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a fireplace and an open-plan kitchen/living area. The kitchen is compact yet functional — all the essentials are well organized, and the space is cleverly utilized. The open layout makes cooking and dining together convenient and enjoyable. The downstairs bedroom has two 80 cm single beds. There is also a separate WC with a washing machine, as well as a sauna and a washroom for relaxing at the end of the day. The loft, which is mostly full standing height, includes two 80 cm single beds and two sofa beds (140 cm wide when opened).
A pet fee is charged per pet, and up to two small pets are welcome. Guests are kindly asked to keep pets off the beds and sofas.

Located in the center of Saariselkä, 251 m² log cabin, built in 1991, comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests. The ski slopes are approximately two kilometers away, and you can access the ski trails and snowmobile routes almost directly from the yard, just a 500 meters walk.
All areas are on one level, making it easy to enjoy your holiday with a larger group. A spacious entrance welcomes guests and provides ample storage for outdoor clothing. To the right from the entrance, there is a large and bright living room and dining area. The high ceiling adds to the spacious feel, the fireplace creates warmth and atmosphere, and the large TV brings everyone together in the evenings. The dining area features a generously sized table for 12, allowing everyone to gather for meals.
To the left of the entrance, a hallway leads to four separate bedrooms. Each room contains two 90 cm wide beds, bedside tables, and storage space for clothing. The rooms are quietly situated along the hallway, making it easy to appreciate your own rest time even amidst shared activities. At the end of the hallway, there are two bathrooms: one with a shower and the other equipped with a washing machine and dryer for longer stays.
From the entrance, there is also access to a third separate restroom and a large bedroom with two 110 cm wide beds. This room is ideal for a couple or those who appreciate a bit more space for sleeping. On the other side of the living room is the sixth bedroom, which has two 90 cm wide beds, providing a peaceful nook slightly separated from the other rooms.
At the other end of the house, there is a well-equipped, spacious kitchen that makes cooking for larger groups easy. The kitchen has its own entrance from the side of the cabin, facilitating the transport of groceries. In the same area, there is a fourth separate restroom and generous sauna facilities. The electric sauna offers a proper steam, the washing area has two showers, and the dressing room provides plenty of space to cool off. Guests have access to the drying room in the sauna entrance and the outdoor storage for boots, skis, and other recreational equipment.
The front yard features a covered terrace, accessible directly from the main entrance, providing a pleasant spot to relax after a day in the fells. The 44-square-meter apartment has a kitchen/living room, a bedroom, a washroom/toilet and a sauna. In the courtyard building, a shared ski maintenance room for the apartments, with a lubrication iron and a table.
Sleeping facilities: 2 beds in the bedroom and 2 additional beds from the sofa bed in the living room.
Apartments 1 & 2 have a common hallway, from which access to the apartment. In the house's common outdoor storage room, 2 bicycles and a plastic sled are shared. In addition, 1 high chair and 1 children's travel bed (incl. mattress + blanket + bed linen) can be rented, shared with other apartments.
