A cozy cottage in a quiet location on the shore of the small Matkuslampi pond. Distance from cottage to shore is 20m. The cottage has a spacious covered terrace with space to spend a summer day or sit in the evening. There is a campfire site on the beach, where you can enjoy the twilight of a summer evening in the glow of a campfire.
Location 72 km northeast of Jyväskylä, 30 m to the beach (Matkuslampi), log cabin (1973), which was completely renovated in 2024. The living room has a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm bed). Double bed in the bedroom. In the living room there is a fireplace, a kitchenette and a dining set for four. The cottage has a bathroom with a shower and an electric toilet.
There is a wood-heated sauna on the beach. In connection with the sauna, there is a small dressing room and a shower. It is a short distance from the sauna to the lake along the terrace. The beach is a quickly deepening mud beach. You can easily swim from your own pier. A rowing boat is available at the cottage.
There is a separate small sleeping hut in the yard with one place to sleep. Sleeping hut´s bed is an alternative bed. However, the maximum number of people allowed in the cabin is 4 people.

In the yard there is a carport and a separate small sleeping hut with two sleeping places. The sleeping hut´s beds are alternative beds. However, the maximum number of people allowed in the cabin is 4 people.
A shed building on the side in the courtyard. There is a cottage library in one of the shed's rooms. You can read or otherwise hang out in the cool room of the shed. The other rooms in the shed are not available.

This cabin is ideal for those, who are looking for a peaceful cabin holiday. Leivonmäki National Park is 7 km from the cabin. Special stages of Rally Finland (also known as Jyväskylä Rally) are also competed in the surrounding areas, so the cabin is in a good destination for the rally enthusiasts (locations of the special stages varies from year to year). Summer events of Letkaliiteri (atmospheric dance place ), only 1.2 km distance.
Log-built cabin (built in 1993), living room (sofa bed, 120 x 170 cm bed for a child), bedroom (sofa bed, 140x190 cm extra bed for two), living room / kitchen, washroom with WC, sauna (electric sauna stove), loft with double bed and one single bed (75 x 190 cm) and travel cot for a child. The loft has two footstool beds that can be used as alternate beds. Footstool beds are not counted as actual beds.
