Located in the peace of nature 2017cottage rebuilt from old vertical logs on the shore of the Pieni-Kiimanen lake, close to the village of Sotkamo (6 km) and the of the Vuokatti (13 km).
In an atmospheric cottage´s living area 75 m² on two floors. Downstairs, a spacious living room kitchen, dining set for 6-8, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with separate beds for 2. Small washroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. Steep stairs to the upper floor, sofa in the hall for 1-2 guests, double bed in the bedroom. One room upstairs is not available to visiters. Covered spacious porch with furniture.
Separate beach sauna approx. 40 m from the cottage. In the sauna, there is a wood stove and the water is heated in a boiler, no shower. A long pier, partly a land pier, because the height of the water level varies. 15 to 70 cm of water at the end of the pier. Hard clay bottom, shallow long beach, own shoreline approx. 70 m. Note during the winter season, you should avoid moving on the ice, because there are many frozen currents in the water. By rowing, you can go to the opposite shed during the thaw to roast sausages, but in winter you must not cross the water.
There is also a storage building with wood storage and waste sorting. Parking lot in front of the cottage, with a car heating pole for 2 cars.
The cabin is heated by ground heat and in the summer time an air heat pump is used for cooling, the cabin has mechanical ventilation. Smart TV 43"
The tap water is filtered from well water, which has manganese levels above the reference values, which may cause a slight odor. However, there is a separate tap in the kitchen where you can get double-filtered, clean water for cooking and drinking.

Located on the side of a stream (30 m) connecting to Iso-Sapsojärvi, a separate log cabin for a peaceful vacation and enjoying nature in Sotkamo.
The cottage built in 2002, living space of 60 m² on the ground floor and 60 m² on upper floor. A separate kitchen corner with an atmospheric wood stove. In the living room kitchen there is a fireplace and a dining set for 6 people. In the living room, a good-sized sofa and an armchair. Upstairs, a motor bed (as a double bed), and 2 x 120 cm wide separate beds, in the same space, but partly demarcated into a sleeping space with wardrobe. From the upper floor there is access to a small balcony, with a view of the courtyard sauna and the stream.
Wood-heated sauna (hot water from the heater) + dressing room. Access to the stream from the sauna is via stairs, and at the end of the stairs is a platform / terrace and a ladder. The courtyard sauna is available all year round. Note the stream is not suitable for swimming (natural mud bottom). On the beach there is a campfire place and a porch with a door. A rowing boat is available to get to Sapsojärvi (distance approx. 400 m), if you are boating, please bring your own life jackets. At the end of the stream, at the head of the promontory on the Sapsojärvi side, there is a good sandy swimming spot available (with another cabin), there are old buildings on the beach that are not used by tenants, but you can otherwise use the beach freely.
Note there is also a separate shed building, with sleeping loft with alternative beds for 2 (if you want privacy). The use of the shed can be negotiated separately with the maintenance. Shed can be available during the summer. Purontupa

An unique destination situated by the Tenetti stream offers its guests an unforgettable vacation in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Holiday apartment Jokiniitty 2 was built at the end of an old barn in 1957, and was renovated into living space in 2005.
Facilities are on two floors, and there is everything you need for spending a comfortable vacation. On the ground floor, there is a kitchenette/living area with a dining table for four people. The windows offer a view of the coastal meadow and the fell landscapes of Vuokatti. The living area also has a sofa bed for two people and a separate WC with access from the hall.
On the upper floor, there is a spacious sleeping/living room with a double bed and additional sofa bed for two. On the upper floor, there is also utility room/shower/WC. In addition, the apartment also has a covered/glazed balcony with a wonderful view of the beach.
It is about 150 meters to the river Tenetti, where visitors can relax on the pier, enjoy the atmosphere of the campfire or bathe in the wood-heated beach sauna, however, the use of the sauna must be agreed upon separately with the owner. It should be noted that the holiday apartment itself does not have a sauna.
