Lammintupa is located in the smallest municipality of South Karelia region, in the middle of the charming countryside landscape by the pond Kirveslampi. The cabin is ideal for couples with one child for a peaceful holiday. The place also offers excellent, peaceful forest trails for jogging.
Lemi is known for its famous Lemi's särä, which is on of the seven wonders of Finland. Lemi's särä, a delicious lamb stewed in a birch vat for a long time, is available at Lemi's Museum.
27 km to the west from Lappeenranta, spring-based pond Kirveslampi 60 m (length 500 m, width 300 m), hard, gently deepening clay bottom, pier and rowing boat.
Wooden cabin 1966, renovated in 1984, interior surfaces are renovated in 2021, living room, kitchen. Two beds in bedroom, one bed in another bedroom (bedrooms windows have blackout curtains). WC and shower in washroom, electric sauna stove in sauna.
Separate sauna on the beach in summer use during May-September (no electricity), wood burning sauna stove, cauldron in the washroom. Water must be carried to the sauna.
One firewood basket/day is included in the price, after that an extra fee of € 5/basket (payment directly to the owner by cash).
Fiber optic connection available.
Contrary to the pictures, the cottage has been painted red in early summer 2024.

50 km north-west of Lappeenranta, Valkosenlampi pond 30 m (width 300 m, length 1 km), deep and shallow beach, swimming possibility from a pier or shallow sanded beach, mud bottom in the pond, rowing boat. Pond has connection to Lake Virmajärvi (under bridge).

60 km southeast of Mikkeli, lake Saimaa 25 m, hard sand bottom, own rowboat and pier.
Log cottage built in 2001. Downstairs kitchen, living room, bedroom with double bed. Washroom with washing machine, shower and toilet, sauna (wood stove). Entrance to sauna and washing facilities only via terrace. There is open sleeping loft where 120 cm wide bed, 2 x 80 cm wide beds side by side, a junior bed and a cot. A balcony. 29 km east of Kouvola, Vääntäjävirta 40 m, sandy beach, a pier, own boat. Vääntäjävirta is a very long waterway that joins lake Immasenjärvi.
Wooden house 2009, kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom with double bed and TV, second bedroom with 2 beds, third bedroom with 2 beds, fourth bedroom with 2 beds. Utility room, washroom with toilet, shower and bath, in addition separate toilet, covered terrace.
The house has mechanical ventilation, air source heat pump and internet.
The main building does not have a sauna, but there is a separate well-equipped lakeside sauna (25 m²) with washroom, living room with fireplace, kitchenette and two alternative beds.
There is a wood-fired hot tub freely available by the lakeside sauna. R Possibility also for using wood for barbecue. There is campfire site .

Cozy and well-equipped cabin, built in 2009, in a beautiful and peaceful setting right by the lake. The location offers the perfect surroundings for a relaxing holiday close to nature, yet with easy access — only 35 km from Lappeenranta and about a two-hour drive from Helsinki.
On the ground floor, there is an open-plan kitchen and living room, a separate WC, two bedrooms with double beds (can be separated), a utility/dressing room, a bathroom with two showers, and an electric sauna. From the utility room, just a few steps take you directly to the oil-heated hot tub.
On the upper floor, a spacious living area with a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) opens onto a balcony. There is also a separate WC and one bedroom with a double bed (can be separated).
At the shoreline, you’ll find a pier with swimming steps and a gently sloping sandy beach suitable for children. Guests also have access to a grill hut, a campfire site, and a rowing boat.
The hot tub is available for rent year-round — and when you arrive, it will already be heated and ready for you to enjoy.
An illuminated ski trail maintained by the municipality runs just 400 m away! Villa Viola
