This splendid holiday cottage is a fishermans dream, located in a sheltered bay with a panoramic view of Masfjorden, 200 meters away. There are numerous good fishing spots and you can rent two different type of boats: A 21 ft Øien 620F with 50 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor, chart plotter/gps/sonar and an 18 ft Øien 530F with 30 hp Yamaha 2-stroke motor and sonar. 700 metres to the dock where the boats are located, or 450 metres to drive to a parking spot and walk 200 metres along a pathway. The house has 3 bedrooms with double beds. In two of the bedrooms the double bed can be split. Connected to the main bedroom, there is an alcove with a double soda bed, and a door that leads to a small bedroom with a single bed. Here you will also find a cot. Borrow a high chair upon request. There is a bathroom with a bathtub on the 2nd floor and a bathroom with a shower on the 1st floor. The house is at the end of a road so there is no traffic. There is a new hiking map available for this area, that gives you a full overview of all the signed hiking trails in this magnificent scenery. Buy it at the local store. Visit some of the attractions nearby, like the Rhododendron Garden, the Maritime Museum, or Gulatinget - Norways oldest thing assembly. Bergen and its many sights is approx. 90 km away.
