27km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6km, Lake Rukajärvi 1km. High level and spacious two-storey log house, built in 2006, bedrooms 1-2: 2 beds, upstairs: convertible sofa, bedrooms 3-6: 2 beds, living room, kitchen, electric sauna.
In Tahkolanranta area on Takalontie road on the northern side of Lake Rukajärvi with fell and lake views.

Additional equipment: All bedrooms with own shower and toilet. Water kettle, hair dryer, DVD/home theatre system, flipchart (pls, bring your own marker pens), two fireplaces and drying cabinets, balcony.

Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 28km, short trails in the Central Ruka area 6km.

Additional information: Internet connection (cable and wireless, speed 8Mb), connecting route driven by a snowmobile (length 500 m) to public ski track network 50 m from the cottage, rowing boats shared by four cottages on Lake Rukajärvi (1km) and Lake Vuosselijärvi (4km). Barbecue hut is in joint use with another cottage.
