Beskrivelse af Ejendommen
Landsbyen La Campana stammer oprindeligt fra middelalderen, men den nuværende arkitektur blev anlagt i det 17. århundrede da Tolomei familien, bankierer i Siena, byggede herregården med kapellet og udbyggede selve landsbyen.
Bygningerne er fornyligt blevet restaurerede og i dag er der muligt at tilbringe afslappende ferier her, omgivet af den vidunderlige natur der kendetegner det sienesiske Kreta, af historien og af kunstværkerne fra dette uforglemmelige hjørne af Toscana, samt af områdets vingastronomiske delikatesser, blandt andet den berømte hvide trøffel.
Samtlige lejligheder, indrettede i datidens stil, har selvstændig indgang og udendørsrum eller privat, overdækket terrasse, møbleret med borde og stole for at kunne spise i det fri.
Herregården er omgivet af en stor, enestående park med lysthus, og er indrettet med møbler fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede – begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede.
Samtlige køkkener i lejlighederne og på herregården er forsynede med komfur, ovn, opvaskemaskine, køleskab og fryser.

The villa has a private entrance to the exclusive park with high-growing trees that surrounds it, where there is also the pool, equipped with tables, chairs, deck-chairs and sunshades.

The abbey was founded in 1313 AD and is the mother house of the Olivetan Order of Benedictines. The Abbot responsible for the whole Order still resides here. The abbey contains important Renaissance masterpieces such as the cycle of frescoes by Luca Signorelli and Sodoma (early 16th century) depicting the life of Saint Benedict.
