Spazzavento is a characteristic Tuscan country house dating back to the end of the 1700s. It has been renovated and converted into 6 apartments, while retaining the old country house's original details. Originally intended as the summer residence for Benedictine monks of the "Servi di Maria" order, Spazzavento sits in a tranquil position overlooking Monte Cetona and the surrounding hills. A splendid park of centuries-old trees frames the pool, where guests can relax after exploring the nearby historic towns and medieval hamlets such as Cetona, San Casciano dei Bagni (affiliated with Fonteverde Thermal Spa), Città della Pieve, Chiusi, Montepulciano and Pienza. From the nearby train station in Chiusi there are convenient connections to Florence, Siena, Orvieto and Rome. Access to the A1 motorway (Milan- Naples) is about 15 km away.
The CIPRESSO (1st floor) and LAURO (ground floor) apartments are in the main house and have adjacent outdoor spaces (joined by a gate) if two families wish to stay close to each other.
PINO and MANDORLO are in two separate buildings, but are in any case close by and they too have equipped, outdoor spaces. The OLIVO and ABETE apartments (in the farmhouse's converted stalls) are also attached, and ideal for couples or small families who wish to be near to each other (outdoor spaces equipped with table and lounge chair).
