Near the center of the aptly-named Golden Valley of the Chiana River (the Valdichiana), some 400 meters above sea level but just a few kilometers from the town Cortona, Villa Nello encompasses every quality of Tuscan charm, simplicity and rural beauty.

From here, you will enjoy enchanting walks into town, and breathtalking views of our hillside landscape and to the Valdichiana below. Your solitude and privacy are assured, as even the secondary roads and train tracks are kilometers away from each villa. Only private drives and car parking serve each home.

Above the wood oven is engraved 1781. The villa has been restored in 2001.

The big private garden of Villa Nello offers a beautiful view of the valley and Cortona. A private outside dining area with barbecue and table with chairs invite the guests to long evenings enjoying a splendid sunset.

The private swimming pool is 3.5 x 7.5 metres and is situated amongst terraced olive groves directly overlooking the Valdichiana - Open from beginning of May until end of September.

Wi-fi internet is available at Villa Ugo, the owner's house, about 250 m from Villa Nello. Connecting should be possible also from Nello, on some days you may have to go closer to Villa Ugo!

Beskrivelse Interiør

Villa Nello has three floors and sleeps 8 people.

The ground floor includes an entrance foyer, adjoining dining room and kitchen (fully equipped with 5 burner stove, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, cooking utensils, etc) leading to a large terrace with a dining table for 12 and countryside views.

On the first floor is the living room with access to a small covered veranda, one double bedroom, and a second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.
On the second floor there are two double bedrooms, one a master with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and one double bedroom with bathroom adjoining.

All the bathrooms are with shower - no bath-tubs.
