Slap af ved poolen i denne ferieboligen i Toscana. Smuk middelalderlandsby som i rolige omgivelser og med panoramaudsigt over oliventræer og skove af gamle kastanjetræer som er typiske for Toscana. Ejendommen er for nylig blevet restaureret på en måde, der har bevaret de originale arkitektoniske træk og opdelt i 7 fine ferielejligheder. Lejlighederne er alle komfortabelt indrettet i typisk toscansk stil.
Afstande: købmand 1,5 km, den charmerende middelalderby Cortona med alle slags butikker 4 km, Camucia (togstation) 4 km, Arezzo ca. 25 km, Perugia ca. 50 km.
Til gæsternes rådighed: stor og udstyret have, swimmingpool (12 x 6 m maksimal dybde 1,4 m åben fra 14/05 til 30/09), grill. Fælles vaskemaskine (€ 3, - / pr. Vask) og strygejern. Parkering på ejendommen. I lejevillaen er det muligt at plukke frugt i sæsonen, figner, nødder og kastanjer og købe produkterne fra ejendommen (olivenolie, marmelade, vin). Mulighed for at tage smuk cykel og ridning i skoven i Toscana omkring ejendommen.

Loved our stay! Elaina and Mario were superb hosts. Property is beautiful. Although a little hard to find in the beginning, the gps information was very helpful.

Endroit très calme. Attention, difficile à trouver le 1er jour quand on ne connaît pas.

This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to Italy. Elena has always been the most accommodating hostess and generous in her time and efforts on our behalfs. We have witnessed her generosity to all the visitors to Borgo Elena. Brava Elena! Until next, grazie mille!

Borgo Elena is a lovely villa set high up in the hills above Camucia. We stayed in Apartment 6 which was spacious with amazing views from the bedrooms and sitting room. There is a terrace from the kitchen which was reasonably secluded (the only completely private outdoor space is with Apartment 3). We viewed all the other apartments on the last day which are all beautifully furnished with lots of character. The pool is a good size, good depth for children and regularly cleaned. It also has plenty of comfortable loungers and umbrellas providing essential shade. Again, the views from the pool are spectacular. The owner, Elena, was exceptionally helpful and always at hand. She provided us with a bottle of her own wine on arrival and, at a small cost, we were able to top up our supplies of both wine olive oil (again made by Elena's family) during our stay (great presents too!) She and her father, Mario, were also very sweet with our 5 year old son who ended up not wanting to leave! There are no local amenities within walking distance but Camucia (with 2 supermarkets) is only a 5 minute drive down the hill and the pretty town of Cortona, 5 more minutes further on. We would highly recommend Borgo Elena.

Prachtig gelegen Borgo, in de mooie heuvels rond Cortona. Uitzicht is zowel overdag als in de avond adembenemend mooi. Huis is goed ingericht en de ontvangst en begeleiding tijdens het verblijf door de eigenaren is zeer prettig. Bovendien smaakt de eigen "huis"wijn uitstekend. De omgeving leent zich bij uitstek tot het maken van trips en stedenbezoek: vooral de kleinere stadjes en dorpjes zijn zeker de moeite van een bezoek waard. Een aanrader!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Beautifully situated Borgo in the amazing hills surrounding Cortona. The view both is breathtaking both during the days as also during the evening. The house is well decorated and the reception and support during the stay by the owner is very nice. Moreover the "house" wine has an excellent taste. The area lends itself perfectly formaking trips and visiting cities: especially the smaller towns and villages are well worth a visit. Highly recommended!Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Ja

This was a peaceful, lovely place to stay, beautiful views, easy drive into Cortona, and a good jumping off place for just about anywhere in Tuscany. Elena was a great hostess, she was always there to help with anything that came up. She even got in her car and came and found us when we were lost trying to find the place on arrival. The villa was quite rustic, but comfortable and charming. There was a great outdoor stone terrace to enjoy the views and the peaceful sounds of the cuckoos,and really charming grounds to stroll around. The only drawback was that the kitchen could use some modernizing and organization; however, unless you really wanted to cook, this was no problem, it was adequate for our needs. The bathroom was good; a good shower. I would rent this villa again.

What a delightful place to stay and experience the Tuscan countryside. The view from our terrace was heavenly. Elena was a perfect host and without being too intrusive, helped us with inquiries throughout our stay. The accommodation was clean, well equiped for our needs and wants. I would return without hesitation.
The only confusion was the initial directions given by the agency. The property is listed as Borgo de castagno, however the name on the wall of the entry driveway, is Borgo Elena. Also, the first place we booked through easy reserve had the wrong pictures and when we were informed of their error, we had to wait a long time for a reply to change, which eventualy came through another country agency. The view from the villa was fantastic and the surrounding very peacefull. The kitchen was well equipped. It is the ideal location if you are looking for a quiet place to relax after a long day on the road.
