Holiday home in Volterra. Beautiful stone villa quietly situated on the hills surrounding Volterra. This nice holiday home has been recently and tastefully restored preserving its ancient architectural features and turned into an independent accommodation with private swimming pool. Beautiful extensive views over the surrounding landscape of Volterra are afforded. The home offers nice and comfortable interiors furnished in a Tuscan manner.
Distances: Volterra with all kinds of shops 3 km, the charming medieval town of San Gimignano 15 km, Colle Val D’Elsa approx. 20 km, Siena approx. 50 km, Cecina with equipped beaches approx. 40 km, Florence at approx. 60 Km, Pisa at approx. 70 Km.
At guests’ disposal: large furnished garden, beautiful swimming pool (14 x 7 m – maximum depth 1,5 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) set in panoramic location, barbecue. The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road. Parking within the grounds.

Truly lovely house! My family and I spent a week here in mid June. We were 14 people in total and we all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. Each room, which are all very nice, has it´s own bathroom. The pool is big and has an amazing view over the Tuscan landscapes. The only minus with this house is that it´s situated in the middle of nowhere. It´s perfect if you want to spend a lot of time on the property or by the pool, but if you plan to visit different towns within Tuscany you´re gonna have to prepare for many hours in the car.

GPS coordinates are N 43.39761, E 10.90838. The access track (rough) is off the SR439, approx 1 mile north of the SR68. Municipal rubbish bins may be found 50 yards past the Volterra town sign, on the left.
