Beskrivelse af Ejendommen
Dejlig villa i "Leopoldino" -stil med pool nær Ambra, mellem Arezzo og Siena i Toscana. Ejendommen består af hovedhuset og et udhus / anneks. Husene er pænt restaureret og omdannet til et charmerende landsted, pænt dekoreret med et smagfuldt interiør. Huset er en del af en stor landbrugsejendom hvor vin produceres. Fra feriehuset har du en fantastisk udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab med vinmarker, olivenlunde og skove. På det store udendørs område finder du havemøbler, liggestole og en privat pool. En sekundær vej, der fører til gården og til den smukke middelalderlige landsby Montebenichi passerer i nærheden.
Afstande: Den lille landsby Ambra med madbutik 4 km, Bucine med alle slags butikker og supermarked 15 km, Siena ca. 20 km, Arezzo ca. 30 km, Firenze (lufthavn) 60 km. Det omkringliggende område tilbyder flere butikker (ca. 25 km), hvor det er muligt at købe de bedste italienske mærker.
Til gæstebrug: stort møbleret udendørs område, privat swimmingpool (5 x 10 m) beliggende i panoramaudsigt, solarium, rummelig loggia møbleret med spisebord til udendørs måltider, pizzaovn, vaskemaskine, wifi. Villaen har aircondition.

Stueetagen: stor stue med pejs og adgang på ydersiden, lille stue med satellit-tv, stor og lys spisestue åbner ud til stuen og med adgang til haven, køkken (ovn, fryser, opvaskemaskine, appelsinpresser, brødrister, amerikansk kaffemaskine) med store pejs og spiseborde, 2 dobbeltværelser hver med esnuite badeværelse med bruser (et uden vindue). Overdækket terrasse (60 kvadratmeter) indrettet til udendørs spisning.
Første sal: 4 soveværelser med dobbeltsenge, hvoraf 2 med ensuite badeværelse med bruser, to-sengs værelse, 2 badeværelser med bruser, badeværelse med bruser (uden vindue).
Annen sal (i huset tårnet - loftsrum): soveværelse med dobbeltseng og privat badeværelse med badekar.
Udhus beliggende 10 m fra hovedbygningen (dette lille hus er ideelt til teenagers).

SITES AND ACTIVITIES
La Selva is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy and is placed in the southern part of Tuscany.
We are very near the provinces of Umbria and Lazio.
The scenery around the property is typical of the pictures painted by the Renaissance artists. It has sweet hills and sweeping valleys, marked by noble cypress trees and adorned with vineyards, olive groves, and large forests of oaks, giving shade from the heat of the summer, the woods have trails and road for walks, mountain biking and horseback riding.
Our 370 Acres of fenced land is inhabited by wild animals:
Deer, wild goats, porcupines, wild boar, hedge hogs, fox, hares, squirrels
The climate is mild, except in July and August when the sun is very strong and hot.
Within a 15/30 minute drive, you can visit the art towns like Siena, Monte San Savino, Lucignano and Sinalunga.
In the direction of Chianti there is a constellation of little medieval villages and castles, full of history and each with there own personal story through the centuries.
In the direction of Siena there is the "Crete di Siena" a very special landscape that changes colour every month delighting artists from all over the world.
Within 30/45 minutes drive you can visit places like Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Volterra, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Chiusi, Pienza, Montalcino, to name a few. Some are famous for their wines.
Many have an Etruscan background. These villages are always on very scenic and unbeaten roads.
The landscape continually changes, making one hold their breath in wonder at what beholds around every corner.
Then of course there is Florence, 45 minutes away.
The home of the Renaissance, with fantastic churches and huge museums full of glorious history and artistic wealth.
We can advise and give information on the various cities of art and museums, providing road maps.
It is impossible to see everything and you may plan your stay, or just play it by ear.
Some people just like to relax and sun themselves around the pool - our pools are in very scenic positions.
SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENTS
There is the possibility to do the following sports:
MOUNTAIN BIKING: We have 4 mountain bikes at ab. 10 euro per day.
TENNIS: There is a tennis court at 10 min. drive from the property - approx Euro 15 per hour.
Horseback riding at our neighbours by reservation
Hot air ballooning (their is a company nearby, reservations only)
Hiking or walking in which you may see the local wildlife in La Selva's own park
Fishing in our small lake
VISIT OF THE CANTINA, by reservation only in the office of the Winery.
POLO CLUBS: There are two Polo clubs a very short distance from here (5 minutes away) that have games very often during the weekends and can be watched.
ARTISTIC EXHIBITIONS and concerts - June, July and August only.
There are many concerts and exhibitions in this area during the summer, and you may attend.

Truly beautiful villa - we hugely enjoyed staying here! The villa is well maintained and beautifully furnished. It's in a very peaceful location; a wonderful base for exploring the treasures of Tuscany, or to just hang out and relax. The only issues we had were with figuring out how to use the dishwasher (it's a professional restaurant style machine and not intuitive to use) and two of the bedrooms didn't have mosquito screens on the windows which made those rooms difficult to use.
