There are 3 bedrooms and a mezzanine for extra sleeping space. One of the bedrooms is separated from the living room in case someone wants to go to bed earlier than the rest. Large and spacious hallway. Also spacious bathroom. Dining table and high chair.


There is a nice yard where you can barbecue over a bonfire (see photos). It is approx. 100 metres to a small fishing lake, suitable for children. Go hiking straight from the cottage.


There is a local grocers (open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). You can buy most of the things you need here, from food to fishing equipment to firewood for your stove. A free fishing license is provided for all guests of this cottage.


Bortelid is situated at an altitude of 650 metres. It is a family friendly place where you can relax and have a comfortable holiday. In summer you can experience the mountain plateau without snow. There are many lakes for fishing. It is in a central location in the heart of Vest-Agder.
